What We Stand For
In addition to being advocates for animal rights, we donate product to animal rescues and sanctuaries. We believe hemp can be especially beneficial for animals recovering from mental and physical trauma, and a useful complement during training and behavioral work. See our rescue program.
We support and advocate for sustainable and organic farming practices, and for bringing awareness to the current and future landscape of hemp — especially the importance of growing it organically. Hemp is a phytoremediator: it absorbs whatever is in the soil, so how it's grown genuinely matters.
We are active advocates for hemp as a natural alternative, and our work in the industry — and our encouragement of consumers to educate themselves — is directly tied to moving this industry in a positive direction. That's why we publish our lab results and our research rather than asking you to take our word for it.
We believe all people and animals should have access to this plant and to other beneficial plants, so they can support their health and well-being for generations to come.
Quality Products
Four things we will not compromise on.
All of our products are made with top-quality organic carrier oils, sourced responsibly and sustainably, and all ingredients come from trusted suppliers. Most importantly, we grow and use our own organically grown hemp.
All ingredients and formulations are 100% human-grade. Because we follow cGMPs for human dietary supplement manufacturing, we can say that with certainty.
Gluten-free, GMO-free, pesticide-free, cruelty-free, and vegan — except our Pumpkin Harvest biscuits, which contain eggs. We never use fillers, flavors, or synthetic additives, because we don't believe they're necessary.
Our hemp-infused products are made with our own full-spectrum hemp extract, from strain-specific, organically grown Colorado hemp.
Our Hemp Extract
Our products are derived from our own strain-specific, organically grown Colorado hemp, and they are full-spectrum — meaning all of the active compounds present (cannabinoids, terpenoids, and more) interact synergistically in what's referred to as the entourage effect, increasing the efficiency of the oil.
We do not use isolate in any of our products, ever.
Our extract is third-party tested and 100% free of pesticides, residual solvents, heavy metals, and microbial content, as well as tested for potency to ensure consistency in the finished product. You can read the Certificates of Analysis yourself.
Our extract comes from a strain-specific cultivar chosen for its terpenoid and cannabinoid profile. We know this strain very well — we've farmed it and formulated with it for several years — which is what keeps our finished products consistent batch after batch.
It contains CBD-A, CBG-A, CBC-A, CBD-V, and other beneficial cannabinoids that occur naturally in hemp, along with a broad spectrum of beneficial terpenoids.
Our extracts are never imported. We grow our own hemp, on our own farms, in Colorado.
Most pet hemp brands point at someone else's study. We ran our own — a 90-day canine joint-comfort trial with Colorado State University, and a second equine stress study with Tarleton State University (Texas A&M System). That kind of control over the outcome is only possible when you breed, grow, and formulate everything yourself.
