CBD oil is made by extracting compounds from the leaves and flowers of the hemp plant, then blending that extract into a carrier oil. How to read the label & COA (so you know what you're buying)
This is the step most guides skip — and it's the one that actually protects you. Before you buy:
- Find the CBD amount in milligrams. A real CBD/full-spectrum product states its total cannabidiol content (e.g., "1,000 mg"). If there's no mg figure, it's almost certainly seed oil — no matter how the front label reads.
- Look for "full-spectrum" or "hemp extract." "Hemp oil" or "hemp seed oil" alone signals a nutritional oil; "full-spectrum hemp extract" signals cannabinoids.
