Full-spectrum hemp extract preserves the entire chemical profile of the hemp plant: the major cannabinoids, the minor ones, the aromatic terpenes, and the flavonoids — including the trace amount of THC (under the legal 0.3% set by the USDA hemp program) that occurs naturally. Nothing is isolated out. That completeness is the whole point, because these compounds were designed by the plant to work together.

Full-Spectrum vs Broad-Spectrum vs Isolate

There are three tiers of hemp extract, and the difference matters for your pet.

Full-spectrum keeps everything the plant makes, trace THC included — the most complete option. Broad-spectrum takes a full-spectrum extract and runs an extra refining step to strip the THC, which can also remove some beneficial compounds along the way. Isolate is pure CBD and nothing else — 99%+ cannabidiol, with all the other cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids removed.
